Experience
Terry Protextor has worked in the health care field for over 34 years in all levels of healthcare management., with the majority of his time in clinic management. Mr. Protextor worked as associate administrator of a 105 physicians’ multi-specialty clinic, senior vice-president of the 353-provider clinic network with over 50 clinic sites. He developed and established the University of Iowa Community Medical Services, Inc., a primary care clinic network for the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in 1996. He serves as the Executive Director of the clinic network.
Expertise
Mr. Protextor has expertise in all areas of medical practice management, with particular interests in clinic operations, new practice startup, physician compensation contracts, facility design, marketing of practices and services, practice acquisitions and strategic planning.
